i can play one game of diablo 2 on my iphones internet but i cant use my home one it wont even load just says checking then nothing but like i said i can logon to my acc on my phones internet and i can play one game then if i leave i get realm down anyknow now how to fix

Yeah i found that out on accident!! Used a hotels wifi and it banned me for 14 days. Also I believe its from the last login time, so quit trying to login, it will reset ur time!

you can get around this...

as others mentioned you've been temp banned for a reason not mentioned above with your home net. that is why youre able to use another network source such as your phone and utilizing a completely separate IP address to route the login.

depending on the temp ban it could be hours to 2 weeks for more serious issues. been there... not fun, but again can get around it.

if realm down like issues you want to avoid logging in to allow the time to pass. if banned for other reasons then it is time based and additional login attempts wouldnt affect it UNLESS whatever caused the initial ban is repeated then it can and or will restart the clock.

a ban only happens when an account is closed. a temp ip restriction is temporary.

there are different types of ip restrictions

a checking version means you made too many games, you can log into your account but will have from 1 million to 3 million wait in line timer. sometimes the timer is 500k or 50k. this can also happen by spamming invalid skills on a character or attempting to drop the character from the game with invalid packets and you will ghost out of game - still works LOL.
a hard ip restriction from a vpn will show up as you click to load the account and you will just see an error box that does not move, you cant log into your account
verbal abuse of players, threats, cdkey muting causes a account login restriction
botting - this is a bit of crap shoot here in if you spam messages in game it can simulate a 14 day ip restriction as if you used a vpn, what also causes realm down is leaving a game too fast with too many characters at a time on the same ip.


accounts cdkeys emails ip are linked. this show up in he can get on another ip, load an account but cant make more then one game before realm down because the cdkeys are blacklisted until the time expires. get another set of cdkeys, ip, backup account and register with another email and dont mix them. allow for the time to expire and set better configs.
