Were you playing on mobile? If so, there’s a good chance your drop box was just glitched.

Happens to me all the time

I do play on mobile. My drop box was not up at the time. I hadn't seen any items drop yet after refreshing. I did see an item the next turn of mobs

It’s almost definitely a mobile issue. I don’t think it’s possible to get a chest with no items in it. However, on mobile a lot of times the drop box will be hidden “below” your phone’s screen. Refreshing/swiping up will reorient the screen so that things appear properly. It’s good practice to just swipe up on your screen as soon as you start playing on mobile so that you’ll be less likely to have this issue. I still forget sometimes and don’t realize it’s happening until I run into a chest, or kill multiples monsters and realize I haven’t seen any drops in way too long.



Just logged in and got an instance where the drop box would definitely not show up. It’s not always apparent, but if you see this then you definitely know you need to swipe up:

with me it says i find a treasure chest but mobs spawn

Yeah I've found this happen a lot on mobile.
I usually just rotate the screen horizontal and back.
I've killed like 6EPs once thinking they didn't drop anything only to realize this glitch happened.

The swiping up thing depends on what kinda phone you have also, my old phone (iPhone XR) would do nothing if I swiped up, had to reset the whole game, but now my new iPhone 17 the swiping thing works perfectly

That makes sense. I actually upgrade from an XS Max to the 17 myself and don’t think I did the swipe method before upgrading.

TBH the best way to play mobile is buy a cheap ~$10 bluetooth keyboard on Amazon, lol. Then you can press “O” right when you log in and you’ll know if your game is glitched or not.
