I'm used to trading in Diablo 2 Resurrection and Diablo 4, but could someone give me a step-by-step guide on how to do it safely in Arc Riders?

So it depends on size of trade if you can safe pocket items then most drop add to safepocket and surrender.

If large trade,

hatch key is used.

Zone in and typically walk to hatch point drop in safe spot and hatch out quickly.
