I recently started watching this anime (not my usual type) but I saw this Anime won a lot of awards so I figure I would give it a chance. I also learned that the 2nd Season Starts (Today, January 16th) but I'm still on episode 8 and so far it has not disappointed.

I would recommend watching the this Anime even if its not your usual type.

Absolutely loved this anime. I believe it is all hand drawn which is mind boggling.

It's pretty good

I can't seem to get past episode 6 bcuz it has no action :(

Yea, a bit, especially the challenge the groups have ahead of them towards the end of the season.

There is several fights (so far I'm on Episode 18 of the 1st season)

Hidden gem, not your typical shonen so people are gonna take a while to buy into it. Excellent character development, world building, and storyline as well. I'd say anyone who enjoyed Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Wolfs Rain would love Frieren.
