On your edited, yea we've had this a couple times in 2017 and 2022, but this one just feels different. Tough loss, and hoping it's not just another splash in the pan, but man it really feels different this time. We shall find out, but like us with TLaw, if you got the right QB you're going to have success. You guys look like you just might have it with Maye as well.
Hopefully. He's shown some insane stuff so far. He's still young so hopefully he progresses in a good way.
The Nix injury sucks. Always want to see the best players on the field, but that's the game. Hurts them, helps you guys. But also you never know when a back up QB gets the start. They can have a game or two of their lives that nobody seen coming.
Yeah I mean, it's obv devastating for anyone to lose their starting QB. Theoretically if Team A and Team b play each other and Team A loses their starting QB, I'd expect Team B to win almost every time.
Yet at the same time, Denver (Sean Payton's offense) has a very qb friendly system for qbs and wideouts alike. Nix made some heroics this season but he does habe a LOT of in timing, in system throws. Not saying he's a system qb, just saying that Stid could have success in the same system. People are acting like we've already won this game
Like, I get it, but Denver is a tough place to play and they have a great team.
