Even if you lower the ilvl to 25 by rerolling a socketed magic claw with 3 chipped gems, it’s still too high to roll fire blast (T1 staffmod)
Staffmods Tiers vs iLvl
01 ≤ iLvl ≤ 11: T1, T2 (base T1)
12 ≤ iLvl ≤ 18: T1, T2, T3 (base T2)
19 ≤ iLvl ≤ 24: T1, T2, T3, T4 (base T3)
25 ≤ iLvl ≤ 36: T2, T3, T4, T5 (base T4) (D2C: iLvl ≥ 25)
37 ≤ iLvl ≤ 99: T3, T4, T5, T6 (base T5) (D2X only)
Each base Tier is randomized by :
20% chance of +1
50% chance to stay unmodified
20% chance of -1
10% chance of -2
White claws with staffmods start dropping with ilvl higher than 24 also. You
could repair a low quality/broken claw with the cube formula that sets its ilvl to 1, but then it will restrict it to max 2os (so can’t make plague either).
There is ONE solution left…
It’s to reroll a high qlvl claw with 6 pskulls on a char lvl 1, to lower the ilvl anywhere between 1-24.
Rare can’t get +3 traps, but it can get +2sin (which is better anyway).
If would only work with Feral/Runic/Scissors.
Could also imbue those base with a char lvl 8-20 instead of rerolling with pskulls.
