Mendoza is going to be an elite QB, you can probably pay me after 5 years
I like Mendoza for what he is in college, and he seems like a really good guy. Well spoken, good leader, hard worker, etc. Gotta love Indiana, what a story they are (i hope they win it all).
With that said, curious as to what exactly he has that makes you believe he's going to be ELITE at the next level let alone with a team like the Raiders?
He has pretty average NFL starter physical traits (besides being tall). He won heisman with some pretty weak numbers compared to the usual, in one of the weakest heisman races in recent memory. This draft class is of course complete ass at the QB position. Raiders gotta take him first, but there are better non-QB prospects in the class of course.
He has average to above average NFL starter as his ceiling written all over him. Seems like a student of the game despite his negatives could have a long career. Drawing potential ceiling comparisons to that of Matt Ryan or Kirk Cousins which is pretty good, but not elite (enough to get paidddd though).
