checking versions means you are ip restricted because you have made too many games, joined too fast. now there is a similar error where if you load d2 and it just says unable to connect this is from using a vpn.

so mark when checking version happened then if this happens for more then 20 minutes you are going to be restricted for up to 2+ weeks up to 20 ish days.

changing the cdkey wont help, uninstall wont help you just need to wait it out.

when making a game make sure and wait 1 minute, dont be in game for less then 1 minute i try to be doing stuff for about 6-9 minutes per game. if you leave early make sure and add what ever early time you are out of game into your next game delay timer.

Alright, did some tests, this is not an IP ban. This is completely something different

My main pc was unable to enter any other realm than East, with any IP.

I turned on the laptop, it was possible to connect to any realm with it, but I was kicked in 10 seconds after a game join from Europe several times, same as before on my main machine.
After reboot it's now impossible to connect to Europe or West on a laptop aswell. East works perfectly still

ip, account, cdkeys are tied.

if you change ip, load dirty cdkeys = ip restriction NOT a ban. bans are like getting shot in the face you dont recover from that, a restriction is temporary.

if you load fresh keys, on a fresh account, on a random ip on the same computer you wont have any issues. so your only option is just waiting it out. if you load any of your current accounts and crosslink cdkeys, account and ip it will lock down. there was a thread about this on the forums before it got closed. you can find it on archive.org with a bit of searching.
