From what i understand,
Scenario 1: Renee Good, Leftist Lesbian, An American Citizen - attempted to flee the scene after obstructing and protesting against Ice (she is dead) - Labeled a Terrorist.
Scenario 2: Julio Cesar Sosa‑Celis, Venezuelan illegal immigrant - was captured in his car, altercation, fled, leading to being shot (he is not dead) - Labeled a Criminal.
What i am reading is:
On January 14, 2026, ICE agents in Minneapolis attempted a traffic stop on Julio Cesar Sosa‑Celis, a Venezuelan national in the U.S. illegally. Sosa‑Celis fled in his vehicle, eventually crashing it, and then continued on foot. During this foot chase, he was joined by two other individuals, Alfredo Alejandro Ajorna and Gabriel Alejandro Hernandez‑Ledezma. Together, the three allegedly attacked the ICE officer, using a snow shovel and a broom handle. Fearing for his life during the assault, the officer fired a single shot, striking Sosa‑Celis in the leg, causing non-life-threatening injuries. All three individuals were subsequently taken into custody, and the incident is being investigated by federal and local authorities.
In this regard, 3 vs 1, i mean, come on, the individual Ice officer has no case against him.
I dont feel this is really worthy of being beamed around the world, this feels like a friday, normal, not a, lets report this on the BBC etc etc, yet here we are.
ice captures 3 criminal illegal venezualans after they flee and attack officer. that story is gonna get zero traction from the media.
it makes ICE look good, so they wont talk about it.
it makes Venezuala look bad, and legitimizes Trump's takeover of the country, so they wont talk about it.
and an officer made a good shot on a valid target, so it makes ice look good, so they wont talk about it.
its nothing new, a cop shoots an armed robber and it gets only local coverage. a cop shoots an unarmed person on accident and it get international coverage and literal riots. mike brown charged down a cop an hour or less after robbing a store, and it sparked riots because the cop wasnt drawn and quartered. didnt help the media presented him as a gentle giant, and never showed the footage of him robbing a store.
