Elections cannot be held in a state of emergency. Same reason why Ukraine hasn't held elections

Theres up to 50 million people to deport which would take years, not to mention dismantling domestic criminal networks which are entwined with government

The constitution does not permit suspending elections under national emergency
And there are certainly not 50 million illegal immigrants in this country
