My father worked for many years as a dry cargo captain for an international company, but before the New Year, he was fired because of a false reference from a dockworker. I believe there are many good people in the world, especially on this forum, so if anyone could provide contact information for a company where he could find a job, I would be very grateful!

If its a false reference should be able to disprove it and have the company reinstate his job back. Its an important job being a captain and to be accused of something by a mere dockworker and not challenge that is highly suspicious. He didn't just get fired on a single accusation there must of been strong evidence against him

Sounds to me like he was guilty and deserved to be fired. What was he accused of btw?
