I can't comment on the back door thing because I am not good with computers but I just think that it would be incredibly bad if it's true. It would be such a huge invasion of people's privacy.

And what do you mean "the other side"? Do you mean the whole anti-gun industry? I don't think they need to present a united front, they just need to each do their own thing and the aggregate effect of their efforts would chip away gradually at the 2A. I feel so anxious and fearful right now, you have no idea. I feel like I really need to do something.

the anti gun industry is just as much of a grift as the gun industry. if they get rid of them the money stops. a state hacker group (country starts with an i )was able to get into any phone they were targeting politicians and journalist apple claims to have patched this in December of last year but pretty much no device is safe. best to just be law abiding and assume they can see everything at all times.

I agree with being law-abiding, but, I fail to see how donating to a pro-gun group makes one a criminal.

Also, a country that starts with an "I"....do you mean Israel? Why would you attack your own country? I am assuming that you are Jewish.

The way I see it, as long as I am not a criminal ( I am not), and furthermore, I am not planning on committing a crime, either ( I am not), then it should not matter how controversial what I do is. The government should not treat peaceful, law-abiding citizens like me like some sort of criminal that it feels it is justified to spy on, just because it doesn't approve of the things I do.

Very often, revolts happen because of this kind of governmental overreach. When a government watches people who have done nothing wrong, it can do it successfully a few times (as in, with no pushback), but eventually, people's patience will be pushed beyond a point and then the government will wish it had left well enough alone.

Yea, wasn't it you who told me that? Or was it someone else.

Anyway, now I feel kind of bad about meeting up with people, because they will all be watched. but if I told them, "If you meet with me, you and all your family and friends will be watched also!" they would be too scared to meet with me. So now I get people in trouble regularly, lol.
