dont pretend to care about human life, we know you

For 2 years he said horrible things about Palestinians. We are now expected to believe that he cares about Iranians. it is the height of hypocrisy.

God damn. You guys aren't even pretending to care and he's supposed to be the bad guy.

I don't want to believe you're motivated by hate, but why is your response to him bringing up 12,000 dead people in Iran to attack him for not caring about human life? This is on you guys. Either you care about humanity or you don't. Only commenting when you can blame Israel or America is disgusting.

If you want context, you are free to read the 2 years of content in this thread. I especially remember the remarks made when 24 Israeli's were killed in the Iranian bombings, he stressed this was not minor by any measure. When we then referenced the 65,000 we got the usual bullshit. if your not willing to read the thread in full then there is no need for us to entertain you. If you want to project go ahead, but dont expect much from us in response. ofc there is no need to entertain or defend our positions against him, i mean there is such a thing as basic human decency (and common sense). Seeing Israel for what it is, is not rocket science.

The US is seeking regime change in Iran, with that in mind, they have sanctioned Iran to the hilt since Q4 2025. The result is the humanitarian crisis which is now enfolding. Europe, in response, is seeking to sanction Iran even more, because it too is now in the business of regime change, at the behest of the US government. Funny really, the US is threatening to annex Greenland, an ally, and Europe is still doing what its told. Iran has never attacked Europe or the US, its crime is that it has Oil and said no to the propped up dictator after the US removed its democratic government.

Many_names spent 2 years giving us his views of the "Hamapalestinians" - if you want to support that go ahead, we see you now.

How am I the one projecting? He brought up 1200 lost souls and your response was "he said horrible things about Palestinians". All I'm doing is reading the terrible way you're responding.

Again, you try to blame America. America did not kill those 1200 people, the Iranian government did. You can hate America and Israel and Iran all at the same time, you know. This is not a riddle. I'm not asking you to renounce your views, just to make the smallest fucking effort at consistency.

Now you're trying to attack me because I think it's terrible that 1200 men and women were murdered by their own government. The Iranian government is the sort of government that is willing to murder it's people en masse during a communications black out. The sort of government that destroys a Canadian civilian passenger plane because America killed a high ranking terrorist. No, you're right, sanctioning them is totally unwarranted. We're obviously the problem.

Are those people killed not belligerents? They are openly engaging in violent insurrection against the legitimate government. That's not "murder", they are volunteer belligerents who have committed many killings of government forces themselves. On the other hand, the thousands of young children and infants slaughtered by Israel are not belligerents. I'm sure their cause is righteous, but we don't need to be dishonest and say they're murdered - they are combatants. To my knowledge, the government of Iran is not murdering any children and infants of the rebels.

Well, that's all conjecture on account of the communications blackout imposed by the Iranian government.

Maybe they were militants, and maybe there's just crowds of protesters being fired upon by their own government. If the 12,000 people killed were all armed militants, that is a bit different. We don't have all the facts, but what we know about Iran is that most of it's population is not well armed. The people of Iran don't have the capability of standing up to the security forces.

It may just be my western ideals, but I think implicit in the term "legitimate government" is service to the governed, and generally not ordering your military to fire into crowds of people when they call you a tyrant. Probably not trying desperately to hide your civil unrest from the outside world either.

This isn't what I'd call justification. Your argument is really that you don't care about Iranians because he doesn't care about Palestinians? This is a question about you.

this isnt at all about me, its about someone who made and continues to make excuses for a genocide carried out by his countrymen ALL OF THE SUDDEN being concerned for Iranians? how far back do you think I have to look to see him advocating the bombing of Tehran?

Racism is an illness

What they are actually doing

They are not arguing facts. They are shifting the frame.

They accuse me of “not caring about human life” to:
Avoid addressing selective outrage (Iran, Syria, Yemen, Kurds, etc.)
Moralize the debate instead of answering it
Force me and you (people with moral clarity) into a defensive position
Dont fall for it.

I have time. I will compile a response today with quotes. your welcome?

Lets go with the Claim first:

That racism is an illness and, by implication, that I and my fellow users are racist. That I and my fellow users are not arguing facts but are instead shifting the frame. That we are groundlessly accusing him of not caring about human life in order to avoid addressing selective outrage (Iran, Syria, Yemen, the Kurds, etc.). That we are moralizing the debate rather than answering it. Finally, that we are attempting to force him and his friends—whom he presents as the sole arbiters of moral clarity in the thread—into a defensive position, and that the wider audience should not fall for these underhanded tactics.

OK moving on from The Claims, here is the "Discovery" - the evidence if you will, related to his views on Iran. These are all pulled from the Iran topic, and I will use these posts to refute his claims. I have not taken anything from the Israel topics. I will pause for 24 hours and then write my argument.

Appendix of Quotes (Discovery):

1. Iranian missiles are exploding due to a “mysterious malfunction.”

2.RIP Oil refinery in Tabriz.

3. Iran has asked Oman and Qatar to mediate between Tehran and Washington in an effort to renew nuclear negotiations… A senior American diplomat stated that Iran is now in a “significantly weaker position” than it was before the Israeli strike. “They either failed to understand or deliberately ignored the president’s warnings,” the diplomat was quoted as saying, blaming Tehran for delaying the talks while rapidly advancing its nuclear program.

4. Their missile attacks are mostly causing damage in residential areas… The only acceptable outcome is for Iran to agree to completely halt its nuclear weapons development.

5. Russian President Putin warned Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei that “his regime is in danger” following a discussion with former U.S. President Trump…

6. Wall Street Journal: Iran is sending urgent messages to Israel and the United States, requesting an end to the war and a renewal of nuclear negotiations. Someone admits defeat🤦

7. The Iranian regime is on the verge of collapse; political prisoners are escaping from prison.

8. Not just the air is free — Mossad agents are assassinating military personnel point blank.

9. We are completely destroying Iran, what are you on about?

10. Israel does not use ballistic missiles. We have complete air superiority. Nothing can stop us in Iran.

11. The Iranians are in complete shock.

12. We do not target children.

13. Seeing a dead child in a video doesn’t mean we target it.

14. There was no country named Palestine in known history — prove me wrong.
(Context: deflection from Iran; irrelevant to Iran framing.)

15. If Iran were a rational adversary, its nuclear ambitions wouldn’t be as alarming. But this is a regime that, since 1979, has openly called for the annihilation of the Jewish state and actively worked toward that goal—arming Hezbollah, funding terrorism in Judea and Samaria, supporting Hamas and the Houthis… now pursuing nuclear weapons. That’s not going to happen.

16. Iran is neither Greenland nor Canada. It’s not a peaceful, neutral country minding its own business; it’s an aggressive regional power that arms, funds, and commands multiple terror proxies across the Middle East. Iran isn’t pursuing a nuclear deterrent for defense, it’s doing so while actively threatening neighbors, destabilizing the region, and calling for the destruction of another sovereign state. That’s not deterrence, that’s escalation.

17. It doesn’t last at all — Iran kept launching rockets towards civilian population since 7 am. I am not sure how long the IDF will sit quietly. Edit: I just wrote this and another barrage is on the way.

18. There is nothing to explain: those who chant “death to America” want death to Americans.

19. It takes 12 mins for a ballistic missile to reach Israel. So claiming that 3 hours after the ceasefire is complete BS. I hope Israel will hammer back and decapitate decisively.

20. Israel doesn’t use rockets; we use aircraft to drop bombs because it’s more precise.

21. We achieved what we wanted: destroying their nuclear facilities. You’re mixing ones’ wishes with war goals.

22. Fact is Israel is no threat for its neighbors; Iran is.

23. You speak as if this happened in a vacuum. We’re responding to a country that openly threatens to annihilate us and has actively built weapons of mass destruction to do so…

24. Israel is no threat for its neighbors… as long as they don’t threaten us directly.

25. Good will with an Arabic dictatorship that changes hands every 25–30 years? That’s western logic; it doesn’t work in this part of the world.
(Background context.)

26. The plan is simple: destroy their nuclear capabilities and their entire ballistic missile arsenal. We can dream on regime change, but this is not one of the goals.

27. Complete surrender and accept defeat.

28. There are reports from Iran claiming that the IDF struck an underground bunker in the Lavizan neighborhood in central Tehran, where it was reported that Khamenei was hiding with his family.

29. You’d be surprised by the ability of the Israeli air force. And what is it if not total war? We are kicking their asses for 6 days now, and they are targeting neighborhoods and hospitals.

30. This has nothing to do with morality. If Iran resumes enriching uranium toward a bomb, we will strike again. That’s not a matter of ethics, it’s national survival. No country waits politely while its enemies prepare a nuclear threat.

31. Yes, the mission was accomplished: we neutralized immediate threats and crippled their capabilities. But if Iran chooses to restart its nuclear program, that’s a new threat, not a continuation of the same one. Peace depends on their choices, not our declarations.

32. 600+ days of targeting civilians is not only a false exaggerated claim, it’s Hamas propaganda. If Israel truly targeted civilians, Gaza would be extinct by now. The IDF uses warnings and precision strikes unlike Hamas, which hides behind civilians and deliberately targets them.

33. If you choose to leave your children fatherless because someone else handed their child a gun, that’s your choice, but don’t expect others to call it noble.

34. A child holding a gun is a legit target.

35. Racism is like a cancer in the brain: invisible to the one who carries it until the damage is done.
