Just started playing D2r a few months ago, and it’s really brought me back. Getting kinda bored with PvM though. I used to do Palapk and was fairly involved in that community back in the LOD 1.10 and 1.11 days of cookie cutter leviathan, ebotdz, and duped 3/20/20s builds. So im familiar with the community and builds, but it seems things have changed a ton from what im seeing.

It looks like most people don’t use runewords for GM duels, anything other big changes I need to know about?

And what’s a realistic budget to build a competitive zealer?

About as cheap as you can make it gm and actually beat someone. I think fools are going for the same price as like a used Ferrari 360.

Awesome! Appreciate the insight, and I don’t even need to cheapest build. I can definitely get some more FG, and have a few fully built characters I can trade in. Just looking for something reasonable that I can have fun with and isn’t going to require me being an jsp millionaire lol.

I’m assuming an inventory full of charms and an erep weapon of some sort is going to be the most expensive part of this

A fools is 40-20 ds, 280+ ed eth rep, weapons have min and max dmg and ias bps.

There is defense, points into skills and ar.

You can make anything you want based on those numbers, just move stuff around.

Don’t over think it man, it’s very simple. Also a certain amount of damage taken outs you into fhr animation so remember that.

Open wounds is 600 dmg
Cb is 200-300 dmg.
PvP penalties aswell.

Right now to have decent zeal ,or get competitive you need build worth atleast 40-50x 3/20/20
All under this tou get smacked to pieces,EDC build now days is pointless .ITs way too many people throwing big money in to zeal
