I am not saying it as an insult, I am saying as in this guys has little to no life experience, he's lived the bulk of his life out inside a videogame. Unless I am missing something, that is a fact. He lives the majority of his life in not reality. And so if you're going to consider someone's take or views, i'd take the guy who has choose not to live in reality for the bulk of his life but as a fantasy character with a grain of salt, as you are welcome to take mine.
Yeah I am reclusive and hate people, most modern trends and choose to live in a highly unpopulated place by choice, but I am not creating political commentary videos now am I.
That's why when people call me a far radical leftist they have to be out of their fucking minds. I cant stand the modern dumbass trends of the West.
Personality, sensibility and rationality will out. Look at Mike Lindell, probably has more 'life experience' than everyone in this thread combined. Cocaine and gambling addictions and recoveries, bankruptcy and foreclosure, 2 marriages, 4 children, his own business, his own media platform, political campaigns. And he's a total fucking wacko. The first reaction people have to him is that he's not relatable, not credible and we should inherently distrust his views, and with good reason. That boy ain't right.
You're not wrong that he has little real world experience outside of that but it doesn't discredit his points. He obviously browses the internet all day so he's very up to date on what's happening. Many of the world's greatest philosophers have been complete hermits - hell, being a real hermit is almost a requirement - being completely separated from normal human motivations, like Asmongold is as he has all the money he ever needs, leaves them completely unbiased. Most boomers rarely even leave their house and live in their online media bubble yet they are the ones with money and votes driving policy.
He doesn't even make videos. He just streams and talks and other people make up clips and post the videos with his consent. His following now is largely from his authenticity
also historically hermits have been sought out and venerated for their sage wisdom, shit it became trendy for rich families to actually keep their own paid hermits on estates in the 19th century or whatever
That's a notable cross-cultural phenomenon, from ancient asian hermits to christian ascetics
