I disliked the ending.


I dont REQUIRE doom gloom and death but it just felt too wrapped and happy.

It ended with some gloom and could have been happier, to be fair. I thought it was alright. I do just overall really love the series though.

What gloom? They all got a happy ever after. Even mike technically with his whole hopeful belief.

Well yeah he had a hopeful belief, but it's clear it wasn't true. I think he even believed it wasn't true.

Initially i assumed it was cause of all the issues but seeing alllll the plotholes and continuity errors they left…its very possible all the proof for the hopeful ending is possibly just errors the duffers werent good enough to fix.

I honestly wouldn't know. I heard that the show was based off books and each season was a different book, and that they kinda just picked some in different order and just did it and made it work. Not sure how true that is though.

I get what you mean though. The last season did had a lot of random things that never got explained why it happened that way. I'm actually contemplating watching it again just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Season 5, while kind of a let down, was DEF the funnest after the fact because of the shit show it devolved into with the fandom

I like the amount of action there was and how much time they spend in the upside down. And unlike the other seasons, it didn't start off slow. Just right into it.
