Where is he gonna end up?

Meeting with the Phillies. Would be sweeeeeeet (not getting my hopes up)

Phillies To Meet With Bo Bichette
January 8th, 2026 at 3:42pm CST • By Steve Adams
3:42pm: The meeting between the Phillies and Bichette is scheduled for next Monday, per Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

3:07pm: The Bo Bichette market apparently has a new entrant. Matt Gelb, Ken Rosenthal and Jayson Stark of The Athletic report that the Phillies have scheduled a meeting with the free agent infielder and his representatives at Vayner Sports that will take place within the next few days. Philadelphia’s interest “is legitimate,” per the report — borne out of Bichette’s willingness to move off of shortstop and a protracted stare-down between the Phils and free agent catcher J.T. Realmuto, who has yet to sign. Gelb and Stark note that a deal between the Phillies and Bichette would all but close the door on Realmuto’s time in Philly and could also lead to a trade of third baseman Alec Bohm.

Here's is the thing, hes a great hitter but hes very injury prone and hes slow as shit. He's also not a very good fielder and long term, he might just be a dh. His price tag is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind if he returned but Tucker is our #1 priority. To me, going to the Phillies doesn't make too much sense. He's 28 but his body like 34. Fantastic hitter though and moment isnt too big for him.

Offensively, he'd be a PERFECT fit for this Phillies lineup.

Defensively, they'd probably just put him at third, and trade Bohm. He'd be alright there. Leave Turner at short and Stott at 2nd, both of whom were great defensively last season.

A top 4 in the lineup consisting of Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, Bo Bichette, and Kyle Schwarber (in any order) would be nastyyyyy. That's two of the highest average hitters in baseball (Turner and Bo both top 5 in avg) and two big time power hitters. Plz sum

I'm hearing he wants a massive contract though.

He's never played third in his life, his arm is weak/not accurate and he can't move all that well. His knees r like Greg Oden lol. Offensively, he works on any team. Tons of hits, with 20 hmr power. Let's see, if you guys pony up the 300m hats off to yall.

His bat is a pretty big upgrade over both Stott and Bohm lol.

Bohm's best season in his career WAR wise was 2024 when he posted a 3.0 WAR (1.5 last season in 2025). Hasnt sniffed that outside of that one season though.

Bichette has posted a 3.5 or better (career high 5.9) WAR in 4 of the last 5 years, and the only year he didn't (2024) was because of missing half the season with injuries. Massive difference, and the key pieces is we know what we'd be getting as he's consistent.

And ultimately idgaf about the money. Spend. Dodgers are out here signing everyone.
