grief is just way more dmg than %ed because grief dmg itself scales with %ed with your shield base damage. it's like 3x more than your base shield damage and then %ed from phoenix 350-400% ed is gonna be about double the %ed of lvl 17 might aura. your tap doesnt keep up with it, it's been tested long ago and I've done it myself but you'll just find out the same thing
