Can anyone think of any really good benefits to running 4x Diablo games at once? Be a bit of a pain to setup, but might have great potential


Pros that I can think of:
x4 the rewards in Undercity (teleport your 3x afk before boss kill)
- Great for finding those passive amulets
More experience when bossing (x3 afks giving xp boost)
With the right build, you could control all 4x Horde spots
- Minions, Auradin, etc.. AFK builds
Easy to farm helltides boss and take turns collecting chests
Next season will have War Maps.. could make any of the above great!
A fun way to min/max the grind
Much more storage space
A designator trader (non-main account)
x4 the rewards at world boss
- NMD Prankster keys and Tributes (this season)

Cons:
Expensive up front. I would need to buy 2x more accounts
Hassle controlling 4x accounts
Small investment of time getting accounts prepped, geared, and ready

I'd honestly only do this if I planned on selling the accounts/characters. If you're more interested in stacking for more drops/exp, the LFG system they have fills parties really fast.

Controlling multiple just sounds like a headache to me.

Playing with “blasters” is the nice convention way. You have a good point though.. much easier ways to fill a game

This idea is more for when I’m playing off meta class and need to generate the items myself. Mostly amulets. Or gameplay where I can set a character for 3-10mins afk for gains

For that reason, heck yeah it sounds like it would work. Especially if you're trying to take your time with the season and spread it out.

For most of us, the season is done in about 2-3 weeks.
