1/4 cup half load
1/2 full load

Top loader?
Let the water run to a quarter full basin, dump the snelly.powder in and mix BEFORE putting clothes in

Front loader?
Get a top loader.

I already figured it out thanks. I have an old top loader which is built like a tank without all the fancy electronics but I think if I were to replace it I would get a front loader as its better getting stains out and is more energy efficient.

pods don't go in the loader. you toss them in with the clothes. If you put it in the loader it won't work as well.

Pods in general for clothes aren't great. Best to use liquid or at least powder.

Pods for dishwashers are great, though.

Why is liquid better than powder? I always thought it was the other way around? Pretty sure most washing powders desolve very easily. I put it in a cup with some water and it was gone in just a few seconds. Not to mention its more cost effective.
