and got his team further in the playoffs than embid ever has, so what does that say about embiid as a leader?

Getting further in the playoffs proves what exactly? That's a team accomplishment. Robert Horry has won 7 championships, I guess he's one of the greatest players of all time by that logic?

Trae Young will never sniff the Hall of Fame. Embiid will. Please don't ever compare them.

yes if i want to win championships(or even get past the 2nd round) i'd rather have a guy like horry as a role player than embiid as the main guy

Maxey and Edgecomb absolutely giving the Knicks WORK again

This team is going to be a PROBLEM if, and I know its a big if, they have everyone available. These two are just cooking on a nightly basis. With Embiid adjusting to his role and PG healthy playing his role as the 4th option they can make a run for sure. Depth too.

Plus getting Oubre back soon. 💪

We watched Embiid average 33 & 13 in that series vs the Hawks and lose because the next best player and All-Star on his team gave up and couldn't even look at the rim afraid to take a single shot.

What are we doing exactly? Lmao

its a big if because Nurse is running his starters into the ground. you can't expect these guys to play 40 minutes every night and then have a healthy postseason run

They have Maxey who is tops in the league in MPG but under 40 min per. And then nobody else in the top 10. Maxey played 37 minutes yesterday.

Maxey and VJ are 25 and 20 years old and both in freakish shape. It's something worth monitoring as the season goes on, but overall doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

Maxey and Jaylen Brown both belong in the same conversation, but it isnt "MVP"

Seems reasonable.

Nuggets better without Jokic?
