what's likely to happen next IMO:

There will be some transition to a US friendly government within Venezuela. I don't think it will be that violent and i don't expect further significant strikes or Iraq style intervention. The average Venezuelan soldier is underpaid and probably doesn't care much to die. You are much more likely to see a Syrian government military collapse vs anything else.

Once US friendly government takes over, Venezuela will become a major oil investment hub over the next decade with many of the US majors going in.

I actually think this may be a net positive for Venezuelans in the medium-long run.

I gotta say I'm impressed with what I've seen from the orange man. He's a bit annoying at times with his antics, but I love seeing him speak unfiltered and not be PC. The U.S. being the big dawg reminding people who runs shit. I'd say we are doing very well right now.

And yes, the attack on Venezuela has everything to do with the U.S. long term.

Bold to assume its over. Agree though. Just tired of pushing ourselves into foreign matters. Take care of our vets and our economy first. Tired of my tax dollars funding other countries and this includes wars.
