Hey,

Very nice laptop i definitely recommend it, my only issue with gaming laptops is the battery.

Remember, to keep your laptops battery working efficiently all the time the same logic applies to a phone, if you keep something charged 8 hours a day, it will destroy the battery due to overcharging. It's why phone batteries go bad because of overcharging.

My advice plug your laptop in fully let it charge and play your games, when the laptop comes down to 10/20% whatever it notifies you at, plug it in to charge and once its full remove the cable, this prevents overcharging and longevity with the laptop battery.

Just some advice hope it helps. :)

to keep the longevity for the battery yes for example

different website source: Occasional Discharge: Let the battery drop to around 40-60% occasionally, then recharge to prevent it from staying at 100% all the time, which strains the battery.

different website source: Plugged in 24/7 at 100% with no limits? Acceptable, but battery capacity will degrade slightly faster over years.

different website source: Always charging it to 100% or letting it drain to 0% repeatedly. The battery just getting older over time, which is normal.

for now as it's a new laptop its good to be used plugged in there's no issues just make sure over time you let it fully discharge or 20% discharge and let it recharge back up again. :)
