Before I installed windows 11; I had no issues. I could run 6-7 instances of d2r; all temps stayed under 50. Gpu and cpu

Now I have a fresh install of windows 11; gpu and cpu temps are pure insane with one instance of d2r spiking up to 65-70


I played with fan speeds and smart control in bios and MSI afterburner
Seem to do nothing but make fans loud

Help? Ideas? I return favor in FG

Windows 11 version 23H2 is Ok for gaming, versions 24H2 & 25H2 are not, they are heavily bloated.

I'm still on 23H2 with 8 instances running fine.

I have installed BOTH versions 24H2 & 25H2 and heavily debloated them, set all services to manual and tweaked many settings
to no avail, even if you are able to load all 6-7 instances, 1 or 2 instances will crash even with low gfx settings.

IMO go back to 23H2 or use LTSC.

windows key + r and then type winver to see what update you have

personally i have not had any issues gaming with 24H2 but i do not run multiple instances of D2R anymore

OK, as I've said, 25H2 is teriibly bloated. You'll have problems running multiple D2R instances.
