Need some real practical people to give me an idea of how much powder I need for a full load of washing.

What is the optimal amount?
What is the minimum?
What are the diminishing returns like mf to clearing speed graph? Because if you put too much apparently it leaves residue on clothes.

Not looking for Somalian engineers and doctors I cannot afford your advice.

Just get a liquid and don't go past the fill line. Full load, go to fill line. Half a load, do half. ezpz.

I work on appliances. I would know.

I throw the box out normally and put the powder in a plastic container. The box usually creates a small mess and if it gets wet its gg. So I stopped using them besides who the fk reads instructions from a gay box anyway....(wish I read the instructions though rip)

I have an old top loader so no idea what line I am supposed to fill i normally just throw in 2 scoops which are just over an ounce (they are my protein powder scoops not the washing powder scoops)

The reason I ask is because I put on a shirt that smelled unwashed. Even though I know that I 100% washed it recently.

Might not be a soap issue but an issue with the water/draining pipes. If it's an older machine, there could be mold/mildew buildup.

Have you ever ran a cycle with bleach or a washer cleaning detergent do clean out the machine?

When I had a washer that wasn't getting all the detergent out it never smelled bad, still smelled good, but it felt like there was a film on the clothes like not all the soap was washed out.
