It’s Normal by design, yes — and no mana pots is intentional.
Conviction, Blizzard, LR, positioning, and pressure still matter a lot under this ruleset. The snapshot you’re reacting to is condensed; the full rules (on the Discord) go much deeper, including reasonable resist and absorb caps so fights don’t devolve into hard counters.
This also isn’t a mana-chug league where you just spam until someone misclicks. Regen, decision-making, spacing, and team play actually matter. You have to build and play with intent instead of relying on blue pots to erase mistakes.
Everything here has been tested and tuned for balance over time. If that style isn’t your thing, no worries — but it’s not “garbage,” it’s just a different competitive philosophy than pub or pot-spam formats.
no offense brother but why not just use normal euro pvp ruleset?
this just sounds insanely boring to be like some sort of mana-hungry duels where half the time you're just running around in circles to regenerate mana
also it just seems to me that any character that can regenerate mana will have the upper hand vs anything
like a bow ama with low mana cost guided arrow, a sorc with warmth, paladin with medi, or even an ele druid with just 9 mana per nado cost
seems very unbalanced to me
