My little thoughts on Ai/LLMs is that these things are exceptional text editors which "guess" what it is that we are asking or looking for. No ghost(s) in the machine. Nothing too surprising when thinking of how far our tech has come since the cart and horse.

Anyone with an IQ over lukewarm can consistently guess what another person will say in response, and also what they want to hear. not hard to think an AI can be coded to do the same. especially when it has a perfect memory of all the text previously input into it.

Precisely. And, what is troubling is how easy it is to fool a fair portion of us with shiny tech things. Well, let's hope for a wiser future. Yet, I ain't gonna hold my breath.

its always been that easy, and people have always been that tricked. i dont frankly think it changes much. LLMs arent nearly as scary as fully automated manufacturing.
