Haven't played too too much over the holidays but I've played enough to do an update so let's go!

So tempting just to advance to Hell with this armor lol, it would be good enough... But no, his brother Dario entered Hell with Goldskin on, Glenn deserves that same distinction!


This is what the average rare executioner drop has looked like throughout NM - 50-90%ed with random mods. Got really lucky on my 136%ed drop. I have one imbue left in Hell, and I'd love an upgrade, but it would actually be kind of anti-climactic to get the Einlanzer off of an imbue. Getting some random 150+ed from imbue (unlikely), and saving the Einlanzer for a Hell Chaos drop would be most epic!


2nd Silks (found the other in Chaos but didn't save it). Decided to save this one, because at this point I have an entire BO buff setup except Silks. With this, I'll have the highest level BO you can get in classic.

I saw this at Halbu and it made me realize 2 things that didn't register before: 1. Defender actually has 10% higher block rate than buckler. I thought they were the same. So that's pretty cool my banana shield dropped as defender. 2. As you can see from my inventory layout, if I want to carry a full BO buff setup and still have space to pick stuff up, literally my only option for blocking is a buckler or round shield. a 2x3 shield simply wouldn't fit! What an excellent drop that was. I know it's weird to be so pumped about a shield I'll probably almost never use but I just love gear that fits in so perfectly like that.


What a gear sword for level 26! At that point you'd be using Conc, so the ias is awesome.

Mid defense, I don't mind! I'm sure upgrades will drop on my journey. Just happy to finally move on!!!

Here are my stats entering Hell, before doing anything. I did prebuff my BO, because my life is quite low at the moment. I'm going to try my best to keep buffed BO on until I can gauge my strength in Hell.

As a general update:

Mastery needs 1 more point to be maxed, after that, all points will be going to Find Item.

I am going to keep adding to Vitality for now as I gauge my strength in Hell. I want to hit at least 200 base Strength eventually, but for now I'll probably continue adding to Vitality until I'm sure I can handle the heat!

The gear in the picture is as follows:

Inventory: 30/20/3 max/19 res Defender for situations where I may need block like vs skeleton archers I can't leech from. Full BO setup (tarn, silks, sojx2, +2 barb weapon x2). Listing this out made me realize I don't have a +barb skills ammy. So it's actually not the highest level BO I can get yet.

Helm: Sigon (the main attraction of the trio is 10%LL, 50%MF, and attack rating per level. Also gives 30% IAS for when I need to use Berzerk)
Boots: Sigon
Gloves: Sigon
Belt: Goldwrap
Armor: Goldskin
Weapon: 136%ed Executioner
Ammy: 30 ar, 17 str, 25 cr, 17 lr, 43 fr, 17 pr, light radius
Ring 1: 6LL, 5ML, 4ene, 7%LR, 7%PR
Ring 2: 6LL, 4 min dmg, 10 ene, 8 mana, 20 LR, 25PR

This gear will offer:
80% MF vs the general hordes
180% MF for final act boss kills like Diablo
280% MF vs important Find Item pops like Travincal and Chaos seal bosses.

I hope to at some point get a little MF on my jewelry and up those numbers to 100/200/300.

As I move forwad in Hell, I'd like to tighten the requirements for the true Einlanzer. 180%ed just doesn't seem godly enough!

The Einlanzer will be: 190%+ ed with a 2nd distinction such as a sexy colour, base leech of either kind, triple durability, or barb skills... OR Any 200% ed executioner

There we are! Now my goal is to just saunter through Hell, enjoying and taking it carefully, and then run Hell CS fo the sexiest gear I can find!

e/ this post is kind of a mess because I wrote it hastily without formatting. But I do have another option that adds more mf. I have a ML/prismatic/10mf ammy with a 5ll/max dmg/ar/fire res/8 mf ring that would get me to 98/198/298 mf. My overall dmg dips a bit though. At first, I'm just going to use the gear I've already listed. When I hit Chaos Sanc, I'll re-asses.
