You discriminate over immutable characteristics, things people have no control over. You spit in the face of everything the Constitution stands for while pretending to support and defend it.

I am entirely unconcerned about who reported me. I'm a big boy and have to accept the consequences of my actions. I made a conscious choice.

I don't discriminate at all, nature or god did that.

The constitution isn't an immutable slab passed down from mount sinai. The founding fathers didn't outlaw discrimination on the basis of immutable characteristics, 650000+ americans shedding their blood and each others to wipe out our original sin did

Entire generations tried to find ways to reconcile the irreconcilable. From the declaration to 3/5ths compromise to fugitive slave act to importation ban to missouri compromise to nullification crisis to the immediate leadup to the war, it was clear America was on an inevitable course where either the union broke or it banned slavery altogether. No economic conditions existed where the south could abandon slavery without some monumental reconstruction and industrialization, which wouldn't be remotely politically possible when slavery still existed and only force of arms could decide it for them.
For every firebrand and zealot itching for war there were a hundred Americans devoted to our greater union and trying to find a way to avoid it and those efforts continued right up to the breaking point
