Crazy situation local to me, at the DMV I use. Looks like this made a lot of national news.

I knew the Trooper and had a lot of mutual friends who wrestled with him back in HS and college. Sad situation, especially two days before Christmas. He had a wife and 1 year old daughter.

Hopefully this will be a wake up call to all the bad cops out there that life is too short to spend your life being a bain on others, but thats wishful thinking.

What about the shooter? Dmv is not exactly your gas station or a liquor shop that normally get robbed. This sounds like it was something personal or political.

Did he not want to pay the parking tickets?

Or maybe, just maybe, pieces of shit like the shooter will cease to exist...wishful thinking.

Cowardly to walk up to a random person and end their life for no reason.

County police showed up quickly and unloaded a clip into him though.

Tried searching for the shooter. So far and after two days, only the shooter's age was released. The shooter was 44 years old. I do worry about members of the police who are good cops, as in people who serve and protect and who possess integrity and humanity. They are as like sitting ducks. Now, without being able to read about the killer's motive, I am uncertain as to why Cpl. Matthew T. Snook was murdered. If it was just due to hate, there are a shit ton of people who hate bad cops and who own guns. So, good cops will get caught in the crossfire. Personally, I do not think it is as simple as hate or America's streets would be filled with countless and similar incidents.
