Still a good SB caliber QB no doubt, but like I said his peak years where he played at a GOAT caliber level are long gone. He's not the same guy.

That's the simple answer to long term success, obviously. Consistently drafting well and allowing guys to be expendable when they're overpriced (or signing them long term early as they do well too). They've absolutely crushed the draft and it allowed them to lose a ton of impactful vets this past offseason and simply replace them with rookie contracts. Eagles have TWO pro-bowl corners this season btw, both 2nd year players on rookie contracts.

Seemed about on par as to when Mahomes played tbh. They were shit with him and they're shit without him.

Mahomes can't throw down field like he used to. Inaccurate, and he's not reading defenses making the obvious passes like he used to. If the answer is that Tyreek Hill was the only reason he was as great as he was...then he was never as good as we thought.

Winning Super Bowls is a team accomplishment. It doesn't negate anything I just said. Mahomes has regressed. Stats don't lie, neither does the eye test. His peak years were 3+ years ago.
