I remember when the Sixers flat out refused to trade Maxey in a deal for Lillard. Now we know exactly why that was.

I remember the one game i saw him play, refs where giving him all the free throws he could get.

He has one of the worst whistles in the league though for a player of his caliber. It's a bit better this season, but it's still insane how many actual fouls they miss when he attacks.

Btw, Maxey leads the NBA in points per game this season if you exclude free throws.

Did you miss the entire convo or something? He implied Maxey was getting too many free throws (he's 15th in FTA). I responded with the fact that Maxey leads the league in scoring without them.

Maxey is 3rd in the NBA in scoring this season overall. Only behind SGA and Luka. Superstar.

A little over 4 years later and here we are. Not just a MIP winner and 2x All-Star but an All-Star STARTER having an All-NBA season averaging 30+ a game.
