I can only imagine this is how the generation before us felt about us. I agree there is too much brain rot shit going on but trends will be trends and they will come and go. Yeet went away for the most part and nobody says hella anymore. I agree with the phone thing but more as a safety measure, I dont want my daughter texting or accessing the internet without my supervision until I feel comfortable she will be able to make safe decisions and protect herself online from predators.
