Only 40% more than min wage? That's extremely low for a engineering degree. If they came to the US they'd be making 2-3x that amount easy.
Min wage is parts of the US are $15/hr. (that's high, Federal Min Wage is only 7.25) 15+40% (6) is only $21. I make more than that and I never went to college.
