DOJ announces that today, december 19th, several hundred thousand pages of documents are being released. but that it will take a couple of weeks to redact and release the rest, apparently several hundred thousands more.

dems read headlines that said "DOJ says couple of more weeks to release ALL of the files" and didnt read the articles. all bitching that we'll never see them. but today we're getting several hundred thousand, clearly more than the public can even carefully digest in a couple of weeks. the media gets unlimited food to write stories on with just with tranche, but misleads it's readers into thinking Pam Bondi needs to be arrested today. she should be fired, but just because she's an idiot.

When its clearly in the law that Trump signed to release everything today... I know its hard to read for some of you but some of us actually want everything released like it was promised

Nothing about my posts implies they shouldnt release all of them. my post is about how people read "DOJ wont release all today" to mean "DOJ wont release anything today". hundreds of thousands released today, with a timeline of when the rest will be released is hardly the worst case scenario people are pretending it is.

also people this whole time have had the "RELEASE ALL NOW", and i was in that camp too, but now that we know the "files" amounts to several hundred thousand individual pages it at least makes some sense why they havent been dumped yet. that could be 500k to 1 million pages that need to be read page by page and redacted.

now im sure that they will redact a LOT more than what they need to, and for corrupt reasons, but im also not foolish enough to think they dont need to do any redaction either.

They literally had these files for months now.... and ya they had agents going through them removing what they can which is literal bull crap.
