Look into Lossless Scaling, watch some YouTube videos and decide if it's for you, it's a few bucks on Steam.
No sry, i dont set a focus on gaming. my focus is on software that are supporting multi-gpu - most of them in graphic rendering
e: its not a project to build a stronger pc with old parts, its more a project to use more than 1 gpu in 1 machine and on 1 OS / spliting it on software or vmware
Some production software supports multi gpu but not all of them
But yes the ones that do will benefit from the 2nd card.
Yeah i allready know that, i just wanted to know if i need another OS or if its more complicated than it sounds.
My concern is, that i buy a new motherboard and then fuse the 2 pc's and the gpu's crash each other.
I'm pretty sure i know what i will be doing, but i have no experience in doing it, so maybe someone reads through my post and is like "yeah.. BUT did you know that ... etc"
