I just don't get this kind of thing. Take games for example. People will say they like a game, they're a gamer, they play that game a lot and it's interesting to them, yet after years and years of playing, they're still a weak noob who doesn't know anything. Like how in the world is that fun? Isn't part of the fun at anything in life is to actually get better at something? Whenever I do something that I like, like play a game, I get really into it and master it and become an expert and top 1% player, but it seems like the majority of the people are just casual noobs for life. You can see it in the comment sections of D2 videos for example. People will say shit like "This build is unrealistic for most players, I've been playing this game for 20 years and never found a HR.". Lol wtf have they been doing for 20 years, sitting in town? I found 5 hrs in a few weeks of playing.
People like this really annoy me and I look down on them. It's like they're just plain stupid and can't figure out a simple thing.
Mental limitations. Some people don't tick at the same rate as others for a parallel. It isn't a negative thing, some people just think/move slower than others but often are great at making connections in complex things.
