Level 12 Burst of speed (47 skill ias) all you need is 5 ias for max traplaying with longsword.
Level 15 burst of speed (51 skill ias) you reach 9 fpa traplaying with longsword and 0 ias. Aka max traplaying speed.

So yes, longsword = Less dex requirement, and max traplaying on a bos setup with 0 ias as long as you have lvl 15 bos or higher..

Wow... you guys know your stuff. To think I wasn't bothered with stat / life charms at all... but hey, you guys did, what are you thinking? 20/5s would have been a good idea for a Trap Sin. More life than adding stat points right, so you can use stat points to other areas where needed and not need worry too much.

Throwing an idea out there... what about Plague in a 3 WoF claw? 25% chance for lvl 14 Lower Resist when struck, along with IAS, +2 skills, and a very tasty Cleansing aura.

Relying on "when struck" procs can be kind of inconsistent I guess

It is an option for sure. But flat -28% enemy poison res from phoenix shield guaranteed even with sundered ex-immunes, no need to wait proc lower res (if you have passive weapon block then you have to wait struck event longer), is better. Dual plague setup is good, if you farm with barb or necro who wants corpses to stay and not used by redemption aura.
