Want to do charity? Build a hospital free of charge for poor people, equip a school with all it needs, give scholarships, there are plenty of ideas rather than just donate it to an organization which pretends to be helping others. Or maybe it's just a trick to loose the trail of the money and give the impression that they donated everything.

I'm on the fence about this because I would want my kids to be set up but I also would want to see them work and try to make a name for themselves instead of becoming a nepo baby.

If their family earned it, then I say it should stay in the family. I'm all about helping out friends and family over strangers. Maybe that's selfish, but it just makes sense to me.

that doesnt get you good pr about donating all your money away to your own foundation that your kids will run after you die.

yes why else would they even announce their personal choices on inheritance to the world when it could just be kept private with their lawyers and family. they cant help but tell the world about how good of a person they are.

If you touch your parents money or worse yet waiting for them to die just so that you can have nice things then you are a soyling beta chump.

They will donate that money to my charity instead where it will be put to good use.
