What are yalls favorite traditions?

I’d love to see yalls food and outfits as you attend holiday events or you’re just feeling festive.

Are yall more into wacky/corny holiday clothes or traditional? I like a mixture of both I think.

Just not in the holiday spirit the past two years, since my mom passed

Had a tradition for matching outfits. Depending on how I feel in the next week and a half, I'll drag my kiddo to the store and get us matching ugly sweaters.

Chinese food on Christmas

Because that's the only restaurant in town that's open haha.

Me and my family used to go to Chinese restaurants on holidays too. They didn't care about our American traditions, only about the money.

You’ve never heard of an ugly Christmas sweater party/contest? I went to the nutcracker last Friday and a lot of families were all decked out in red and green.

I’m sorry for your loss. Holidays can be super brutal sometimes 🖤. I hope it either passes quickly for you or you’re able to find some enjoyable parts of it.

We do mostly a nice home cooked chicken dinner with a cake and other goodies. Then, we put on one or more old Christmas films. Lots of talking and sharing in our hopes for the new year.

 :santa:
