I respect this outtake and it seems to convey and communicate what many of the previous posters tried to say but in a less than cordial way.
Similar to the 1 dude who said "It ain't that deep" I guess it really is just dudes playin a game w/o caring about efficiency or increasing their fg count in any meaningful way. Like a lot of dudes will farm with suboptimal builds because they just like those builds and characters and that's what they find fun. So I guess it's just fun getting a trade even if it's not an efficient trade.
A lot of people don't even PVP, actually I think the bulk of playerbases in most games do not. Which is surprising, the payoff of farming for me was always I could fund PVP characters every ladder. But the reality is, most people are farming, to get things and sell it and get better things, so they can do the same thing slightly faster than they could before.
I'm going to guess as a whole, the video game crowd is probably not the one that cares most about usage of their daily time and being efficient or cost efficient with it. Afterall, games like these, we're all just chasing pixels to make our pixels do better the next run.
For me, it become a cycle I no longer enjoy and personally have moved to just RPG games that are story driven, or just hop on a random match of Battlefield that takes no longer than 30 minutes. Cant do MMOS or ARPGS these days.
