Barring you had nothing to do with the immoral act or exposing privacy of individuals or their relatives etc. knowledge is knowledge and if its lifesaving should be used. In fact it would be immoral not to use life saving knowledge.

Otherwise the victims died/suffered for nothing. At the very least you can learn of what not to do, our existence depends on learning from mistakes whether they be our own or someone else's.

For example communism killed far more people than nazis yet for some reason people don't consider that as inhumane or crimes against humanity. People who practice and actively support communism should either be locked up or have their citizenship revoked for treason so that we dont have to ever repeat countless deaths and suffering in the future. We have knowledge and first hand experience from many people who had to go through that ordeal. Lets not waste that knowledge.
