Merab can throw a lot of shots, how many actually landed? How many hurt Yan? Strike numbers on the screen aren't accurate and don't tell the whole story. People who watch fighting and know what they are watching know that Yan dominated Merab by landing MORE strikes and HURTING Merab multiple times while STUFFING takedown after takedown.

The fight wasn't close, 1 judge giving Merab 2 rounds (incorrectly) doesn't make it close. Yan still won 11 rounds to Merab's 4 rounds according to the judges. It. Was. Not. Close.

In a fist fight if you let your opponent win 5 out of 25 minutes via all 3 judges it’s obviously a lot closer than you would like.

Except it wouldn't be winning 5 minutes, it would be winning a majority of a round not the entire round dominantly.

49-46 is a dominant win and 2 judges scored it that way, and the scoring didn't tell the whole story.

A fighter could win a fight 50-45 and barely squeak by in every round with a takedown at the end and it looks more dominant than a fighter that wins 49-46 while doing a lot of damage but because 1 round was close it doesn't tell the whole story of the entire fight.
