Sorry your boy is not as popular as you would think. Perhaps for you, but not mainstream. If you've understand my other posts it's clear I know him. So who is pretending?

Surprised you going this far to lobby for Nick. Must be one of your primary feeds?

as funny as i find the el1te types who are desperate to spread people like Fuentes who agree with them, Fuentes is 100% mainstream. at least if we use figures like Andrew Tate as a metric for "mainstream". his clips are top trending on all social media platforms, he's done all of the top podcasts except for Rogan, and the other podcasts he hasn't done are all talking about him. i cant really find an argument for him not being mainstream other than "he's not on youtube or a cable network with his own show". which seems to ignore the rise of alternative media as the new "mainstream" and the fall of contemporary media which is and has lost mainstream status to me.

it would be like saying Rachel Maddow is comfortably mainstream, but Joe Rogan isn't. Fuentes gets about 100x the eyes Maddow gets. whether through clips, appearances, or his actual show.

I could ask 100 people and less than 10 would know Nick. I could ask the group about Joe and Maddow and 90 would know.

i think based on who you ask you'd be wrong about both Nick and Rachel. but correct about Joe Rogan.

90% of people 35 and older likely know who Maddow is

90% of people 25 and younger likely know who Fuentes is.

refining "mainstream" to the non-twitter crowd seems too reductionist. i think cable news and print media are still comfortably in the mainstream, so i wouldnt say Maddow is kicked out, but online media has been added into the mainstream, so by proxy so has Fuentes.

really tho i think Andrew Tate is the best comparison. my grandpa had no clue who Tate was, nor my mom. but every person 20 and under knew him and what he thought.

we really have like the 3 ghosts of mainstream currently, mainstream past (legacy media and print media), mainstream present (large podcasts, large news like today show, national publications like the times, and big network news like fox and primetime CNN. MSNBC, etc) and mainstream future (2nd tier podcasts, alternative print media, and off-primetime cable news).

Probably 95 would know Joe Rogan and maybe 40-50 for Rachel Maddow, at best. But you’re right I suspect very few people know who Nick Fuentes is on account of the only things I’ve ever seen about him have been on this forum.

People who are on twitter and tiktok all day probably know all about him

That entirely depends on who the 100 people are that you ask. Are they the residents of your local nursing home that you frequent, filled with hateful and broken souls commiserating in immobility while watching their favourite corposlop cable channel? Then perhaps you would be right. Are the 100 people regular, young people in the trenches working 40+ hours a day building a family? Then you would be very wrong. is on point here.

I recently rewatched one of my favourite movies of all time, Shutter Island. Andrew Laeddis had his entire family wiped out in an afternoon, the reality of which was so painful to bear that he denied its very existence. Is this reality equivalent? Is the reality of a young man in his basement with a camera speaking truth to power so painful to bear? I suppose it is if you have a tribal guilty conscience of this magnitude.
