The important two bits here are;
The vast majority of Somalis immigrated illegally, defrauding our system with fake "family reunification" visas, and Ilhan Omar is one of them. Hence her real name being Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. Omars were an unrelated family in Virginia. They immigrated in chains, each family bringing the next.

Somali politicians openly complained this last election that newcomers couldn't afford the expected $100-200 per ballot price that Somali families expected to be paid. Only the established politicians who received the graft money from fake lunch programs / medicare fraud could afford to pay their voters so much money. And they care about who is elected as their leaders and representatives more than they care about national politics, where they have basically zero influence because they vote in a blue district in a blue state.
Hoping the Feds bring out the guillotine. Our state is corrupt BAD. That $17bn vaporized faster than a Thanos snap. Unfortunately replacing the representative heads won't fix the grotesque statues we have that lean toward the criminal element and shadow markets.
These fraud programs just add insult to injury on the petty school funding issue I harp on. Minnesota LITERALLY sending State dollars to terrorists instead of helping with gaps so children can meet reading goals. Not sure how we can self deprecate more.
