Honestly, thank you for stepping in. I was only trying to have a normal conversation without being compared to believing in Santa or the tooth fairy. I appreciate you calling that out. I'm not here to argue, just sharing my own experience and trying to stay respectful.

he is a hard case, really has obsession about christians. consider staying out of such conversations. especially when on a %.

Beyond absurdity you say?

There are 1000's of gods and imaginary beings take your pick, zeus, anubis, jesus, thor, santa, haua, puana, spiderman, eshu, obatala, flying spaghetti monster, freya etc etc...
You don't believe in 1000's of gods and magical entities. I am like you I also dont believe in them and I sleep just fine, they have no effect on my life because they don't exist.

I have a solution: Just add one more to the list. I promise you won't know the difference. You can still be a good person and function without having an imaginary dad watching over you.
