What’s the minimum requirement to run p8 online? I already bought the accounts from the blizz sale.
I just built a new pc as well with these specs:
9950X3D
5080 gpu
64gb ram DDR5-6000
2tb NVMe ssd + 4tb nvme SSD for games
1050 watt psu
X870E tomahawk

I would imagine this pc can handle it, but I got up to 5 instances and my pc actually just crashed and froze. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Your system is more than capable to run 8 D2R instances

I take it u r using Windows 11 but note that version 23H2 is best, 24h2 & 25H2 are not

if u r running 24H2 & 25H2, u hv to really debloat Windows and set most services to manual

for nvidia gpu, make sure the rebar is enabled (use nvidia profile inspector) & also, u hv to clear
gpu shadow cache once a while to reduce frame freeze or stuttering

Edit:
Take note of the VRAM usage and adjust video options in game
use reduce resolution scare to 85% & enable DLSS (Auto)

Yeah I’m on 25H2. I’ll try out your suggestions, I believe it was an optimization thing on my end because my main d2r instance was max graphics, and I believe all the clones afterwards were the same. I’ll try again today when I get home and figure it out, hopefully.

I just edited my post on the video usage, note those also

D2R settings will be saved from the last used/closed instance and therefore will reflect the settings to all newly launched instances

Someone from d2r forum said blockhd for the instances. I guess I’ll have to load my main screen last.
