Nothing. Doing it while not finishing the job you’re already being paid for is the wrong part here. Teams shouldn’t be able to recruit coaches until the end of the season. It’s an issue in the NFL as well. Coordinators are often interviewing for HC jobs while preparing for a playoff game. Why not force them to wait until the offseason?

Ole Miss essentially fired him. This has nothing to do with NCAA. If you can fire a coach you cant say he cant go get a different job

winner of American conf gets to coach in the playoffs and both coaches already have new jobs before their conference champ game. ALOT of players already know where they are going next year in the portal and will play in the playoffs. NFL players are often said to be auditioning for their next job. This is an Ole Miss problem
