Boy, for us old timers, as in playing since Diablo 1, I am wondering why I continue to love me a ladder reset.
Some go for 99. Some go for that first high rune or for their endgame build.
I go for that moment in normal and with a new ladder character when an Arctic belt drops or a something from Hsarus. I am like "YAHOO!" It's the little things in life.

If I ever get upset I remind myself that I was fortune enough to have been born in the d2 legacy reset era.. life is good

i think the reset will happen dec 5 to 12 date range. bliz usually would give a week notice but they went to 72 hours then 24 hours.

ladder ending is pretty standard procedures in you upgrade items, finish any rolling of items, perm mules then perm all chars on accounts. its a lot of effort but most of it is automated.

i like to roll high pb/zerk griefs and roll sa, ap forts but really there is zero market for it. no one really cares if you walk around with a 40/400 pb grief anymore

You know... I have winnowed it down to (well, trying to) just what I can carry. It sounds strange as a good item may drop which I have no use for it. A kind of self-discipline no muling and self-found thang going on. Yes, my therapist knows about this.

ofc the playerbase is more less then years ago, but some old veterans will be here and fight against the prime evils

For legacy d2 classic/LOD it may be roughly Dec 12th (highly likely) or Dec 19th.
