I feel like mmos are a thing of the past. Most of the good ones are super old and don't have a big player base or are filled with hacks and bots.
Two of my favorite MMORPG games were silk road online and atlantica online. Both are basically dead now.
I heard a lot of good things about guild wars 2 but I quit playing about an hour into it and didn't like it. Felt like a typical generic mmo and it didn't get me interested. This is one of the highest rated mmo games out there, so I feel like giving up on trying new ones. Long gone are the days of sro and ao.
